A Moment of Balls: The Sappers
I've just reached the point in Breaking Bad where Mr White reaches his turning point--what Sappers call degrading an enemy's capacity for resistance, and what I call giving the finger to assholes who go around treating everyone like shit.
For those who have dealt with assholes in the past, this scene is particularly satisfying.
For those who like setting assholes straight in really dramatic ways, the US Army Sappers do this kind of shit all day long. They are combat engineers who specialize in cornholing the enemy in ways they never expected. In my opinion, their motto should be:
HOW THE HELL DID THAT HAPPEN?

Blood Drive Targets Drug Addicts To Donate
BLEED FOR WEED
Blood banks have decided that targeting drug addicts is a good idea to preserve the quality of blood being donated, and because they seem to be used to needles and don't care.
The Bleed for Weed campaign is trading drugs for addicts' blood--so if you are an AIDS patient short on cash, have more diseases than a rabid bat moonlighting as an assistant crack whore, and have a massive drug addiction you'd like a fix for, stop on by the Bleed for Weed bloodmobile, and trade a pint of red for a bunch of free drugs, and then get fucked up hoping whoever gets your blood did something really fuckin evil to deserve it.

Church Life, Safety, and the Irrelevance of Doctrine
I just had a line of thinking about church life that makes me want to bite my fist, for reasons that will be obvious to anyone who I've discussed the subject with for many years.
There is one major feature of church life that removes an enormous problem out of social life, and I think I've missed that because I don't have a social life. I'm not married, have no kids, my relatives are traitors and I don't interact with them, and most all my friends I interact with online these days. I have a wealth of friends, but as we get older, seeing them every day becomes less important. It's all a gigantic blank in my life, but it's something everyone else has. I also consider that the arguments I have set forth, are usually the kind that are not taught by anyone but our parents, because they involved personal safety matters that are exposed by that conversation, and handed down from generation to generation, with the accumulated wisdom of our ancestors. I didn't have that either, and had to figure all this shit out for myself. It takes a lot longer when you do not have help.
There is one function that is critical that has nothing to do with any other feature of church life--you could take religion entirely out of the church, and if all the social relationships remained the same, it would still serve the same function, and that function cannot be dispensed with.
The function I'm talking about is reputation. When we are involved with other people, marriage, kids, family, in-laws, friends and community, etc.--people all do a lot of talking to eachother about eachother. That is immutable, it's always going to be that way. Whether out of competition, or dishonesty, or manipulation, or just plain being evil, or even by accident through faulty communication, a rumor can easily get started and spread like wildfire through a community, and do enormous damage to a person's reputation--and for most people, reputation can change one's entire life. You could lose your job, your wife, your kids, everything important to you--just because some cunt decided to use her influence to fuck up your life.
The only thing that can counter that is knowing a lot of people over time who all talk to eachother, and who know your reputation, and perhaps even details that would counter the rumor and correct it, along with whoever started it. When you know a lot of people, chances are also very good that there will be witnesses who actually knew your whereabouts or witnessed the specific details that counter the lie.
For those whose family's survival and prosperity depend on their reputation, that process and solution is not optional--everything depends on it.
Another major factor is just that people are less likely to do bad things when heavily involved in a community in the first place, because there's a huge chance of getting caught. Proximity to others often accomplishes what the law cannot--it's a great deterrent to have a lot of other people around.
Another factor is whether people have jobs that require a fairly private life. It's hard to have a great social life if you're a cop, a judge, a corrections officer, or any number of jobs where having children is an extreme vulnerability to a lot of violent enemies your job makes for you. It's not just a rumor that can be dangerous, it's a bullet in the ass. Having lots of people around helps deter that risk, and if you have kids, that's not optional--you are forced to do whatever it takes to protect your family, and how do you have a social life if you never leave the house? Where is safe for the kids to develop socially without getting abducted by some violent felon you sent up the river? No choice there, it has to work however it works.
For these kinds of families, it also helps to have everyone's attention firmly pointing in a different direction so the topic never comes up. Keep everyone talking about Jesus, and they will be less likely to start asking a lot of dangerous but perfectly natural questions that make you look like a guilty dick if you refuse to answer. Making it so the subject of any conversation can be quickly changed without offense is a huge asset in that regard.
If church is essential to providing this, one has to abide by the established rules of inclusion, regardless of how dishonest, predatory, exploitative, and just plain fucking evil they are. Lying and giving some dead Jew a lot of credit he doesn't deserve, is way the hell down the list from one's children being in danger from vengeance seekers if you're a judge or a cop--and furthering the obsession keeps the conversation in a safe place, where nobody thinks to ask questions that can out you publicly, and you can always switch to Jesus with no resistance if the wrong question arises. It's a wonderful avoidance scheme.
It is also apparent to me why nobody is going to talk about any of these things--because they are all the kind of factors that are perfectly innocent, and yet you don't want to attract attention to them, because that produces the risk we're all working to avoid, and would undermine the entire point of it all.
None of this absolves clergy of requiring a percentage of one's income or anything--that's still exploitation--and they could easily get by on some monthly support fee like the Jews do for their temples, but aside from that, the institution makes a hell of a lot more sense in that light.
Now comes the question of why we have to have a bunch of religious nonsense gluing it altogether, and I think I've figured that out as well. For whatever reason, religion DOES bring people together and they form strong bonds with eachother that create a community. All other things aside, if that is a fundamental need, then it works. Why it works is of secondary importance, if it's the ONLY thing that really works well. Aside from work, which we often can't control, there are three major types of institutions in society, where large numbers of people show up at the same time, routinely enough to create relationships. There are schools, bars, and churches. Bars are out for obvious reasons, schools don't work for adults, or provide a context where both are welcome at the same time, and also have a specific focus that is never about family.
It also explain a lot about why church people don't give a damn about all the dishonesty and contradictions of doctrine and bible nonsense--it's of no importance to the true mission of the church, it's just a front, but it's a critically important front nobody's going to give up.
I invite the open discussion of church life against all my prior attacks on it.
I will ask that we distinguish between the content of religion, and the social structure of church life, because that's the big mystery I'm trying to solve here. I'm not really concerned about debating scripture, I'm more looking at the social role and function of church life in a community--which may not be as simple as it looks, and which I very well may have misunderstood for most of my life, having had to figure it all out myself.
Juneteenth: It's Easier To Just Call You Stupid
I can see why people celebrate the holiday, and I have no objection of course. The name is really stupid though. What the fuck is the name "Juneteenth" supposed to mean, other than "I'm a fuckin moron, and I don't call things what they are because I don't give a shit."
The name makes it sound like a blur of June 10th, but it's not, it's June 19th. By giving it a name that leaves out the 9, it indicates entirely the wrong date. Why leave out the 9 anyway? It's a fuckin number, so did an entire culture decide to cancel the number 9? Did someone discover the number 9 is racial or something? Is it just for this context, or did BLM suddenly go batshit over the number 9? Is there some kind of strategy for pretending it's June 10th or is that an accident? Is it not meant to be either, and they just don't give a shit what they call it? Do they just not like accurate dates? Do they care which date it's supposed to be on? Honestly, what the fuck is wrong with black people?
Next thing you know, they'll be giving themselves stupid names instead of just their holidays, and condemning the only culture in the modern world to abolish slavery, instead of crediting us for being the first to put and end to it.
Fortunately, black culture is a self-correcting system, so we can have full confidence that any mistakes in judgement will not last long, or affect the rest of the world. If there's one thing black culture is famous for, it's knowing when they're wrong.

Warpaint Tricks Null Into Gluing His Balls To His Butthole Again
Goddammit! I am so fucked.
Warpaint shared this stupid song with me, which he should have known better.
The second I heard the idea, I grabbed the superglue and gave it a try.
Holy fucking shit. You have NO IDEA!
I am sitting here in a fucking Denny's restroom with my balls glued to my butthole, and on top of that, they're both glued to the toilet seat. How the fuck am I supposed to get out of this?
Dammit Warpaint, you knew full well that I believe everything said to me by anybody, and that all it takes is the mere suggestion of anything stupid, and I have to give it a try. Remember back when you told me my dick would fit in a pencil sharpener, and I was stuck in the goddam ICU for 12 weeks?
Fuck! Fuck fuck fuck!!! Sonofabitch!!!
