TODAY IS GOING TO BE
THE BEST DAY OF YOUR LIFE!
LET'S PROVE IT TOGETHER!
What a fuckin wonderful, cheerful fuckin moment that just warms my fuckin heart. Is there any thing more fuckin beautiful than that short fuck Joe Pesci singing fuckin Christmas carols to a bunch of fuckin kids? It warms my fuckin heart.
I am so grateful to myself for long ago deciding to separate the art from the artist, because excluding every good thing because of its shitty source ends with an empty life and nothing in it. I look at the world of hedonist libertines with no discipline in their behavior, and ultra-restrictive so-called "conservative" counterparts who are just as bad in the opposite direction, whose libraries are so empty that not one of them even knows the meaning of the word "conservative." I look at both of these different sides of the same coin and feel nothing but pity and repulsion.
There's no point in protecting a world with nothing in it, or wasting a world we've lost everything to save.
There has to be an enforced compatibility between these opposite states, even when it results in hypocrisy--because trust me, the so-called "Left" and "Right" are utter hypocrites, they're just too dumb to know it. The savages with no standards pretend they're protecting the very people they're ruining and betray those dumb enough to waste their time protecting them as well. The exploiters opposite will protect the world, but only as an ethically exploitable asset they enslave.
There is a third option, and that's to give and get the best in each and gain through both. That's my mission, and that's my life. The downside is being attacked by both sides, because I'll never be one of either, but that's the world I've chosen, and it's the best life I can imagine.
If I'm going to be damned, I'll be damned for the person I really am, instead of a Groupthink bitch and slave to the Cult of Personality, which is what BOTH SIDES of American religion and politics will turn us all into unless we stop it.

With the world on fire, it's important when things go bad to really make an effort for things to go well, and I'm going to take the lead on this tonight.
Please spread the word to everyone you like that I've removed all blocks and bans (except a recent one I won't discuss) and invite everyone back to the site!
All I ask is that everyone (including myself) leave out any toxic talk about other users. It turns out vanishing personal attacks takes under a minute a day, but it's the never ending talk about them that sours the site.
Please extend my invitation to everyone you like, and let them know they'll be welcomed with open arms, be greeted with a smile and whitelisted, and we'll all have a fresh start!
I know there will be some who will persist in what I ask to stop, but I'm going to try to be the leader here in making our world about the fun and enjoyment we can have together, rather than those who've soured us.
So welcome back, and let's give things the best chance to go well! :)
UPDATE: I'm going to close this discussion, because it's more of an announcement than a discussion, and I'm trying to promote positive discussion rather than talk about bans and the like.
Welcome back everyone, and I'll see you on another discussion! :)

We just made some coffee and got a nice fire going with some mellow autumn music. Come on in out of the rain, have a seat, and grab a stick and marshmallow, because everyone in this cabin is rich and sexy as hell, and we're all going to get laid!

Star Trek is an American science fiction media franchise created by Gene Roddenberry, which began with the eponymous 1960s television series and quickly became a worldwide pop-culture phenomenon. The franchise has expanded into various films, television series, video games, novels, and comic books. With an estimated $10.6 billion in revenue, it is one of the most recognizable and highest-grossing media franchises of all time.[1][2][3]
The franchise began with Star Trek: The Original Series, which debuted in the US on September 8, 1966 and aired for three seasons on NBC. It was first broadcast on September 6, 1966 on Canada's CTV network.[4] It followed the voyages of the starship USS Enterprise, a space exploration vessel built by the United Federation of Planets in the 23rd century, on a mission "to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before". In creating Star Trek, Roddenberry was inspired by C. S. Forester's Horatio Hornblower series of novels, Jonathan Swift's 1726 novel Gulliver's Travels, the 1956 film Forbidden Planet, and television westerns such as Wagon Train.
The Star Trek canon includes the Original Series, nine spin-off television series, and a film franchise; further adaptations also exist in several media. After the conclusion of the Original Series, the adventures of its characters continued in the 22-episode Star Trek: The Animated Series and six feature films. A television revival beginning in the 1980s saw three sequel series and a prequel: Star Trek: The Next Generation, following the crew of a new starship Enterprise a century after the original series; Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Voyager, set in the same era as the Next Generation; and Enterprise, set before the original series in the early days of human interstellar travel. The adventures of the Next Generation crew continued in four additional feature films. In 2009, the film franchise underwent a reboot, creating an alternate continuity known as the Kelvin timeline; three films have been set in this continuity. The newest Star Trek television revival, beginning in 2017, includes the series Star Trek: Discovery, Picard, Short Treks, Lower Decks, Prodigy, and Strange New Worlds, streaming exclusively on digital platforms.
Star Trek has been a cult phenomenon for decades.[5] Fans of the franchise are called "Trekkies" or "Trekkers". The franchise spans a wide range of spin-offs including games, figurines, novels, toys, and comics. From 1998 to 2008, there was a Star Trek–themed attraction in Las Vegas. At least two museum exhibits of props travel the world. The constructed language Klingon was created for the franchise. Several Star Trek parodies have been made, and viewers have produced several fan productions.
Star Trek is noted for its cultural influence beyond works of science fiction.[6] The franchise is also noted for its progressive civil-rights stances.[7] The Original Series included one of the first multiracial casts on US television.

I never thought anything could be more amusing than a 7 foot tall dyke representing America by trying to smuggle drugs into Russia--but once again I have misunderestimated the genius of the dangerous idiot community.
Dennis Rodman, arguably the only one in the US dumber than Britney Griner, is now threatening to go to Russia to personally kick their ass and free her himself.
Okay sure, he never said he was going to kick Russia's ass--but does anyone think he's going to be able to do this without a fight?
Personally, I think the biggest risk is from North Korea, once Kim Jung Un finds out his bitch has been cheating on him with Vladimir Putin.
Could this situation get any more entertaining? If nothing else, it's making the news more interesting.
So, who here thinks Dennis Rodman
can kick Russia's ass?

Karl Pilkington is arguably the dumbest asshole alive, and every time he opens his mouth, he astonishes everyone around him with his stupidity.
There's no point at making that the end of the thought process though, because he's also one of the most entertaining people I've ever seen in my life, and no matter how stupid he is about everything, there's some part of all of us, deep down, that just can't help but root for him and hope the best for him, because he tries so hard to understand.
That's the game we're all in, isn't it? That's the truth of life--we start out utterly naïve, and completely incapable of deciphering the world around us, and through ceaseless effort, enormous risk, and constant beatings and reverses, we sometimes survive long enough to enjoy the results.
We are all Karl Pilkington.
Most are smarter, of course--but we're all in that same game of trying to understand the world around us with shitty, half-broken tools we have no idea how to use, and never succeed at anything, but then with a lot of work, we eventually rise above.
I hope Karl makes it. I hope he doesn't end up under the bus. He's trying so goddam hard to understand, and he constantly fucks it all up--but you can tell he's a man who cares and tries to get it.
Karl may be an asshole, but he's MY asshole.
Tom Lehrer was a really weird guy, and sang songs that caused many to consider him a total asshole. His music had a strong influence on my formative years, which probably explains a lot. He may be an asshole, but he's my asshole.
On the other hand, if it doesn't make you laugh, you must be on Thorazine. lol

For those unfamiliar with Bruce Campbell, he became famous for a series of movies called the Evil Dead series. His career has been kind of low budget, but the fans who like him really like him a lot.
Sam Axe is his character in the series Burn Notice--which might be the best spy series I've ever seen. For those already familiar with BC, this character will take you by surprise for two reasons. First, it has nothing to do with Evil Dead, and more importantly, it's likely the best he's ever done as an actor.
Here he is explaining himself in the series, and it's probably the best introduction to Bruce Campbell, the GOOD actor, that you'll find.
